About Michael Bowe, Mediator
Michael H. Bowe earned his B.A in Communication from Denver's Regis University in 1997, Magna cum laude, with an emphasis in dispute resolution, interpersonal conflict, and negotiation.
Michael has substantial conflict resolution training and experience, engaging in hundreds of hours of mediation since 1997, including a large number of family and post-decree domestic cases.
Michael was a volunteer mediator with Jefferson County Mediation Services from 1997 to 2009. He also served as a volunteer for the Boulder VORP mediation program and the Peak to Peak mediation program. Michael is a past President of the Colorado Council of Mediators ( Now theMAC), where he also served as a Director from 2002 through 2005.
About June Anglin, Mediator
June Edmondson Anglin trained in law at Georgetown University, and practiced law for nine years in Washington, D.C. before coming to Colorado in 1992. In 29 years of both solo and law firm work, June developed a general civil practice which includes business formation, contracts, real estate, government issues, and litigation, with special emphasis on family law and mediation.
June trained in mediation at the internationally recognized CDR Associates in Boulder, Colorado, in 1998. In 2001, with New Foundations Nonviolence Center, June completed both the Basic and Advanced Courses in Nonviolent Conflict Resolution, performing work for the benefit of persons incarcerated in the Colorado Department of Corrections. Also in 2001, June completed Domestic Violence Awareness Training at Jefferson County Mediation Services, and was recognized there at the time as Permanent Restraining Order Mediator of the Year.
June served as President (2004) and Director (2002-2005) of the Colorado Council of Mediators (CCMO), now known as the Mediation Association of Colorado (theMAC); served as an Advisory Committee Member for the Office of Dispute Resolution (2005-2009); and served as a member of the Ad Hoc Committee to Revise Recommended Guidelines for Mediator Education and Training (2003-2007).
